The creators of If Not Us often struggled to consume mainstream news and editorial media due to an increasing lack of emotionally honest discussion. If Not Us was created as a way to offer open, compassionate, interdisciplinary learning opportunities to a wide range of readers on important subjects.
If Not Us does not currently have an income or funding sources. Our contributors all work on a pro bono basis.
Trust is not easily earned—and rightly so. With the fast pace of modern media and current events, cultivating strong relationships of trust is too often overlooked. For the creators of If Not Us, trust is built through several avenues: transparency, authenticity, and representation. We try to be as clear as possible in our mission and messaging, collaborating with a diversity of contributors who can write about topics close to their respective lived experiences. If you choose have any questions for us, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Because If Not Us contributors operate on a pro bono basis, the best way to support the journal is by sharing it among your circles. We would love to reach as large an audience as possible, and readers like you can help achieve that!
